Turismo inclusivo.
Santiago del Teide, un destino para tod@s.
Santiago del Teide has positioned itself as a destination where visitors can enjoy inclusive experiences both in the marine environment and in its protected natural areas, thereby fulfilling 6 of the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) of the 2030 Agenda.
Enjoying a trail with accessible sections in the Chinyero Special Nature Reserve and discovering the magnificent volcanic landscape is an extraordinary experience. On the coast, many activities can be enjoyed at sea, reinforcing the range of experiences offered by its ‘Ecotur Blue’ product, which brings together all the activities that can be done in this environment, such as whale watching, kayaking, diving, maritime excursions… all of which are adapted for people with physical, intellectual, hearing, and audiovisual disabilities.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is an action plan for people, the planet, and prosperity, which also aims to strengthen universal peace and access to justice.
193 member states of the United Nations approved a resolution recognising that the greatest challenge facing the world today is the eradication of poverty and affirming that without achieving this, there can be no sustainable development.
The Agenda sets out 17 Goals with 169 integrated and indivisible targets covering economic, social and environmental areas. In adopting it, States committed to mobilising the necessary resources for its implementation through partnerships focused especially on the needs of the poorest and most vulnerable.
The promotional campaign ‘Santiago del Teide, a destination for everyone’ has been developed in collaboration with the companies and professionals that make up the municipal tourism sector, and showcases the wide range of inclusive activities available at this destination. The enhancement of protected natural areas and their rich biodiversity, urban routes and accessible trails, and activities that promote the reduction of inequalities, enable Santiago del Teide to meet 6 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda:
3: Good health and well-being.
10: Reduced inequalities.
11: Sustainable cities and communities.
13: Climate action.
14: Life below water.
15: Life on land.
