Valle de Arriba
Viewpoint
Located next to the TF-82 road, this viewpoint offers one of the most complete views of the Valle de Santiago. At its feet lies the centre of Valle de Arriba and the town of Santiago del Teide, where the volcanic landscape and pine forests have historically shaped a way of life marked by its connection to the rural environment.
From this point, you can see the formations that mark the valley, belonging to the ancient Teno Massif and the younger slopes of the Dorsal de Abeque, which rise towards the imposing silhouette of Teide and Pico Viejo. A natural boundary between the geological past and present makes this viewpoint a special place to stop and observe how time has shaped the landscape.
