BIC La Casa
del Patio
Built in the 17th century and declared a Site of Cultural Interest, the Casa del Patio is a heritage landmark in Santiago del Teide. Its traditional Canarian architecture, with its wine presses, granaries, and cisterns, reflects the agricultural life and stately character of the valley over the centuries.
Among its attractions is its threshing floor, considered the largest in Tenerife and one of the largest in the Canary Islands, formerly used to separate grain from straw. Walking through this space is like peering into the historical memory of the municipality and seeing how past generations made this land their home.
Your visit will give you an insight into a place that remains a symbol of identity and a point of contact with the cultural roots of Santiago del Teide.
How to get there?
La Casa del Patio is located at number 72 Avenida de la Iglesia, in the heart of the historic centre of Santiago del Teide, just a few metres from the Parish Church of San Fernando Rey and the main square.
